Around 1920, Mr Sournia bought the Domaine de Saint-Martin-de-Poursan and used the land, which was of excellent quality and light, to make Vins Doux Naturels as in the Catalan region. He planted noble grape varieties such as Grenache and Macabeu, and contrary to the preconceived ideas of the region’s winegrowers, who were afraid of “coulures” (premature leaf fall), he prospered until the 1990s.

Following a number of incidents of inappropriate behaviour by customers with their pets, the establishment no longer accepts animals.
Visitor’s tax : the price does not include the current visitor’s tax of 0.55€ for people over 18years old. This tax is paid to the municipality of Carcassonne.

Reservation by e-mail, post or telephone, guaranteed for 1 week, effective on receipt of a deposit of 25% of the total cost of the stay.
Deposit : all booking must be confirmed by a deposit equivalent to 25% of the total cost of the stay. This will be deducted from the invoice at the end of the stay.
The balance must be paid on the day of your arrival. The deposit will not be refunded in the event of cancellation less than 8 days before the start of the rental period.
Caution : a caution of 200€ will be asked at the latest when you move in.
Payments accepted: bank transfers, credit cards, cheques or cash.
Cancellation : the signing of the contract is an unconditional commitment by both parties. No cancellation is possible without the written agreement of both parties. If the Taker cancels the rental, he/she remains liable for the full price of the stay.
