Fil’ O’ Fromage
Founded in 1989 as a cheese shop in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, the establishment expanded to the heart of the new 13th arrondissement in 2003, moving towards a wine and cheese bar concept.

A Master Cheesemonger, an experienced oenologist, a former professor of philosophy, winner of the Grand Prix de la Presse du Vin en Restauration, Panaché d’Or de la Gastronomie de France et de Navarre, Clément had set up this innovative concept which occupied an essential place in the booming B.N.F. district. Fil’O’Fromage was a traditional cheese shop, delicatessen, wine cellar and bar, as well as a restaurant. The establishment was also an art gallery that regularly hosted photo exhibitions and all sorts of events that created a very friendly link between culture and gastronomy. Themed evenings were proposed around the five senses and were an invitation to travel.

Now, Fil’O’Fromage is offering a new journey through Fil’O’Château. In Carcassonne, in the heart of Cathar country and Languedoc wines, a journey steeped in history, the owner of the Château Saint-Martin welcomes you to share his passion : you can plan a stay at the Château as you wish, with Table d’hôtes Meal and Bed & Breakfast as well as a Gîte at your disposal, share a wine tasting course, take advantage of a catering service, and organise receptions, seminars, meetings, and weddings. An ideal place to combine pleasure and work.
